The trio have worked regularly in the London Jazz scene including Ronnie Scott's and across the U.K. European appearances include the International Jazz Festival in Trieste as part of an Italian tour and at various venues in France.
Composed by Neil Angilley, the trio's 3rd recording, ‘The Lake District' is a symphonic work, an eclectic mix of Jazz & Classical music for Piano, Electric Bass & Drums.
The piece is written in 9 movements which are a musical description of the beautiful Lake District in England. The work is dedicated to children’s author and conservationist Beatrix Potter who donated a lot of her land to the National Trust. This composition draws on influences from great British classical composers such as Elgar & Vaughan Williams.
