Composed by Neil Angilley, the trio have just released a new recording called ‘The Lake District'.

It is a symphonic work, an eclectic mix of Jazz & Classical music for Piano, Electric Bass & Drums.

The piece is written in 9 movements which are a musical description of the beautiful Lake District in England. The work is a dedication to children’s author and conservationist Beatrix Potter who owned and donated a lot of the land to the National trust. The composition draws on influences from great British classical composers such as Elgar & Vaughan Williams.

Their 2nd recording is 'Chango' and is a tribute to the people  of Yoruba. It is the music, spirit, culture and their God, Chango, that was the inspiration for making this album.

The album was voted best album by French Magazine - Mundo Latino.

" Neil Angilley has long been one the UK’s best -kept secrets in the Jazz world. The Neil Angilley Trio debut album – Havana Club is nothing short of spectacular, reminiscent, at times of the great works of Michel Camillo and Chick Corea, this brazillian - fusion trio album is world class and is a very fulfilling listen. I won’t highlight any particular title on the album as they’re all great, so, as I say: just take a moment to check it out."   Blues & Soul Magazine
